General
Rules (This
Applies to all Divisions) 1.
All Entries must be tagged and the tags properly filled out as per the
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department 2006-2007 regulations. 2.
All
entries scored must be brought in by the rightful owner, unless prior
arrangements have been made by the contestants with a contest official. The
head and head cape are only needed for scoring. (unless noted
otherwise). Any attempts to alter or enhance the horns or kill in any
form or fashion will be grounds for disqualification without refund. 3.
There
is a limit of one kill (unless noted otherwise) per entry form. (Coyote
limits are not included).
When a buck, hog or turkey is scored and registered within the
contest, it will be considered entered. No
2nd bucks taken for 2- or 3-buck counties will be permitted to
replace a buck that has been entered. A
hunter may enter the contest as many times as he or she wants. 4.
In
the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a random drawing (subject
to all Divisions). 5.
All
contestants are subject to a polygraph test at the sole discretion of the
Contest Officials. 6.
Only
General Session kills are eligible. No
early management land deer permits (MLD’s) or Special Season Kills accepted. 7. Youth weekend deer are eligible. Contestants must be entered prior to youth weekend. 8. All deer, hogs, and turkeys entered must be Native Texas Animals. (Does not apply to Mexico division) 9.
Deer taken from a ranch that's High Fenced are eligible for the High Fence
Division Only. (No Exceptions) 10. No stag deer or deer velvet will be permitted. 11. Only spikes taken during General Seasons are permitted. 12. Archery entries will be permitted through regular gun season. 13. Prizes may be subject to change without notice. 14.
Contest Officials have final say on all rules and regulations. |
