Scoring: Scoring the bucks, turkeys, hogs, and coyotes will take place each Sunday starting November 5, 2006 from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brenham Knights of Columbus Hall on south Horton Loop, Brenham, Texas. If a contestant is unable to make it to the scoring location on the scoring day and for more information contact Rick Kenjura at (979)836-5563 or 979-251-4543. Arrangements will be made to have the entry scored. All entries will be scored by contest official. Please Note: 1. Last scoring date per division (for Texas Deer and Turkeys), 1 week after division season closes. 2. Last scoring date for hogs and Coyotes 1 week after Division IV ends. 3. Archery Division entries will be scored by a contest official by coordinating a time or place with Rick Kenjura at 979.836.5563 or 979.251.4543. 4. Mexico entries will be scored at K.C. Hall 1 week after the Big Buck Division IV ends. All other Mexico entries to be scored will need to coordinate time and place with Rick Kenjura. Entries will be accepted up until 1 week after season closes for the entries area or by 01/28/07. NO EXCEPTIONS 5. Deer entry scores will be based on Non Typical Boone & Crockett Scoring Method. Spike entries will be scored by taking 1 measurements from longest horn. The head with head cape is only needed for scoring. NO CARCASSES PLEASE. 6. HOG entries will be scored by measurements taken from the head. A width x length measurement will be taken and added for final score. The head is only needed for scoring. NO CARCASSES PLEASE. 7. TURKEY entry scores will be based on the length of the beard. The beard needs a small section of the hide attached to be eligible. (Approximately 2"x2") 8. No Scoring on Christmas & New Years Eve Weekend. 9. Contest Officials have final say on all scores. 10. Win a scholarship: The Brenham Knights of Columbus will be giving away (1) $500.00 Scholarship at the Awards Banquet on 02-09-2007. To be eligible you must be a graduating senior or a current college student. There will be a drawing the night of the banquet. You must be present to win. Final rules and requirements will be made available the night of the banquet by the Knights of Columbus Scholarship Committee. |
